Visualizing Connection Across 10 Types of Intimacy

This map helps each partner reflect on how connected they feel across ten key Intimacy Types.

  1. Enter both partner names.
  2. Select which partner is currently entering scores (Partner A or Partner B). Only one partner can be active at a time.
  3. Select an Intimacy Type card (Affection, Communication, Boundaries & Safety, etc.).
  4. Choose a level (1–10) for that Intimacy Type. Repeat for all 10 Intimacy Types to complete your map.
  5. When both partners have entered scores, click the Shared Intimacy toggle above the radar map to view both maps overlaid and your overlap percentage.
  6. Use the descriptions above each level to identify 1–2 Growth Behaviors to practice this week.

After completing your first Intimacy Map — even if you have 100% overlap — the goal is to strengthen connection by gradually moving each Intimacy Type toward the maximum level of 10. Choose one or two areas to improve first, practice the Growth Behaviors consistently, and re-check your map over time.

Affection intimacy involves warmth, gentle touch, kind words, and everyday caring that communicates “you matter to me.”

Consider one small affectionate action today: a sincere compliment, a lingering hug, a soft touch on the shoulder, or a thoughtful check‑in.
